Using PWM control, combined with the CFC unit, is an effective solution to prevent overheating when operating multiple fuel pumps. This is the ultimate way to prevent fuel starvation that can occur in motorsports. And with the new high-profile version of the CFC Unit, thanks to its shallower mounting depth, it fits almost every fuel cell on the market.Integrated 2-liter surge tank, machined fuel pump hanger for 1-2 fuel pumps
The unique Nuke Performance CFC Unit works as a fill plate replacement for fuel cells with standardized 6x10" 24-bolt pattern fill plates from manufacturers such as ATL, Premier, Pyrotect, Fuel Safe, Radium, etc. The CFC Unit is the perfect solution for a streamlined, high-performance fuel system where safety is paramount. With the integrated surge tank, this setup removes the need for a space-consuming external surge tank.
- The lightest solution for your motorsport fuel system
- Compatible with most FIA-approved fuel cells
With all fuel pumps integrated into the fuel cell itself, this product is all you need. Its straightforward design saves space and weight while increasing safety as fewer fuel line connections are required and no external fuel pumps are used. Thanks to its unique machined low-profile design, it is the lightest solution on the market and lets you shed crucial weight from your race car. Internal high-pressure fuel pumps, for any needs between 200 and 2000 horsepower. The CFC (Competition Fuel Cell Unit) unit, with an integrated fuel surge tank, utilizes a machined fuel pump hanger and is compatible with single or dual high-pressure fuel pumps from Deatschwerks, AEM, Ti Automotive, Walbro, Bosch, Fuelab, Aeromotive, and many more. It fits all common 39mm fuel pumps, as well as the larger Deatschwerks DW400, Walbro GST400/GST450/GST520, and Bosch BR540 and Aeromotive Stealth 450. To make sure that the fuel surge tank is always full, a fuel pump is mounted within the fuel tank, on an adjustable height aluminum hanger, that works as a lift pump. This solution provides consistent fuel flow for outputs between 200 and 2500 horsepower without any fuel starvation, even under demanding driving conditions, thanks to the internal surge tank. It has become a highly popular solution for all types of motorsports.
- Compatible with Deatschwerks DW400 in single or dual setup
- Ti Automotive / Walbro GST450 / GST 525 single or dual
- All 39mm fuel pumps, such as AEM 320L E85 and DW300
- Safe for all types of fuel, including alcoholic fuels such as E85 The high-profile CFC unit fits all common fuel pumps. Together with Nuke Performance fuel pump mounting kits, it has never been easier to set up a high-performance fuel system. Also, every component of the CFC unit ensures perfect operation with alcoholic fuels, such as ethanol, even during long-term use. How to mount the fuel pumps in the Nuke Performance high-profile CFC unit for ATL Saver Fuel Cells? The single fuel pump mounted in the fuel cell works as a pick-up pump which ensures that the high-pressure fuel pumps within the oversized 2-liter (0.53 Gallon) surge tank always have enough fuel to maximize flow and minimize the risk of fuel starvation, which can severely damage the engine. For more information, see the product manual. The high-profile CFC unit is delivered with everything needed to install your choice of fuel pumps, but we recommend adding one of our fuel pump mounting kits for optimal functionality. All fuel pumps are securely mounted in all conditions thanks to the machined fuel pump hangers.

Which brands and types of fuel cells can be used with the high-profile version of the Nuke Performance CFC Unit?
The high-profile CFC unit builds on the low-profile version but with the added advantage of being able to be mounted, without modification, on ATL's popular Saver Cell fuel cells and Fuel Safe fuel cells. These fuel cells have a smaller opening than other common fuel cells, requiring this new design.
An advantage of this higher profile design is that it requires a lower minimum mounting depth of 197mm (7.75") instead of 219mm for the previous slim-design version.
This high-profile version offers the minimal mounting depth and fits smaller openings, keeping the same top-class functionality and only slightly higher in weight than the lightweight low-profile version. Offered with a selection of fuel cells from ATL, Pyrotect, and Nuke Performance, all with the preferred CFC unit. Changing from a standard fuel tank to an FIA-approved fuel cell has never been easier. We offer both the high- and low-profile CFC unit in combination with fuel cells from ATL and Pyrotect. For a simple and affordable solution when homologation is not required, check out Nuke Performance's 40/60-liter Alucell fuel cells.Select your preferred CFC unit that fits your fuel pump or fuel cell setup. This version is a high-profile design that fits directly into an ATL Saver Cell or fuel cells with less available mounting depth, without needing any prior modification before installation.
How does the Nuke Performance Competition Fuel Cell Unit work?
The CFC unit works as a fuel pump hanger with an integrated surge tank for motorsport applications where safety and functionality are of paramount importance.
It is designed to be mounted directly into an aftermarket fuel tank with a standard 24-bolt pattern. How to connect the fuel pumps to the electrical connectors and fuel lines? The Nuke Performance CFC unit uses oversized electrical connectors, ensuring a failsafe setup. You won't have to worry about overloading the connectors when running high amperage. For the helper fuel pump, you have two electrical connectors, and for the high-pressure fuel pumps, you have a total of three connectors, enabling you to use a dual fuel pump setup in two stages or simultaneously, if preferred. The fuel line connects to the included barb fittings, but we recommend adding one of the fuel pump mounting kits for your selected pumps, to get all the advantages of easy service, failsafe operation, and long-term durability, even when using alcoholic fuels such as ethanol.Low-profile fuel filler cap or remote filler neck for 50mm fuel filler hose?
The high-profile CFC unit is delivered with a low-profile filler cap with integrated roll-over protection. But for those who prefer a remote fill, we offer a remote filler neck for a 50-52mm fuel filler hose. It attaches directly to the CFC unit and uses the integrated roll-over protection mounted on the underside of the CFC unit.
The remote filler neck is available as an accessory.Remote filler neck for 50mm fuel hose. Part No: 150-05-202
Choose the right fuel level sensor unit for your aftermarket fuel tank.
For most applications, an accurate fuel level sensor is required for optimal performance. The Nuke Performance CFC unit is compatible with most common fuel level sensors that use the 5-bolt SAE pattern. The CFC unit is delivered with a low-profile and lightweight blanking plate that can easily be replaced by your preferred fuel level sensor. You can receive your CFC unit with a fuel level sensor; make sure to select the correct length when ordering. For a simple selection, measure the depth of your fuel cell, subtract approximately 20mm (0.78"), and select the fuel level sensor closest to your measurement. The Nuke Performance CFC unit is designed to fit the standard 6x10" 24-bolt pattern. We offer an aluminum flange that allows the CFC unit to be bolted to a custom-fabricated fuel cell that uses this standard pattern. You can weld it to your aluminum cell or copy the pattern to your top sheet and bolt the CFC unit to it, placing the top sheet between the flange and the CFC unit. The CFC unit includes a Viton gasket (suitable for all fuels), which fits perfectly for custom fuel cell applications.
