Radium Engineering Air Oil Separator with Return (AOS-R) Kit for Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ (LHD)

COMPATIBILITY: 2012-2016 Scion FR-S (LHD), 2012-2021 Toyota GT86 (LHD), 2012-2020 Subaru BRZ (LHD).

Modified high-horsepower Toyota 4U-GSE and Subaru FA engines tend to produce excess oil and blow-by gases. In these cases, a common small oil catch can may quickly fill up with oil and not be sufficient. Like Radium Engineering's dual catch can kit, the AOS-R (Air-Oil Separator with Return) kit deals with keeping oil out of the intake tract, manifold, turbocharger, and intercooler during all engine loads. The major difference is an AOS-R system returns what is collected back to the oil pan, so it requires no maintenance. The integrated heater prevents water from condensing in the AOS-R. And because water is more dense than oil, there is an integrated water trap around the bottom perimeter of the canister.
This prevents water from flowing down to the oil pan if it is ever present. Furthermore, because the water is trapped against the heater, it will eventually boil off and evaporate out of the system.

PORTS: Inlet: 7/8"-14 Thread for 10AN ORB fittings. Outlet: 7/8"-14 Thread for 10AN ORB fittings. Return: 7/8"-14 Thread for 10AN ORB fittings. Coolant: 7/16"-20 Thread for 4AN ORB fittings (x2).

*If used in freezing temperatures, Radium Engineering recommends installing an insulating sleeve (not included) over any exposed hose experiencing cold airflow. This will help prevent water from condensation freezing and potentially obstructing the hose. *For RHD vehicles, our universal oil catch can must be used for custom mounting and installation.
