Radium Engineering Nissan 370Z Fluid Lock Dual Oil Catch Can Kit

Radium Engineering catch cans feature oversized 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, two-stage oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. These kits install using factory holes and integrate seamlessly with surrounding components. They do not vent to the atmosphere (VTA), making them emissions compliant and legal for sanctioned track use. Closed-loop systems route oil and sludge-laden PCV gasses out of the engine before they reach the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. The integrated dipsticks in the cans allow for easy inspection of the accumulated fluid. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications to the vehicle are required.
To keep the symmetry Nissan designed into the VQ37VHR engine bay, the oil catch cans are bolted to the right and left shock tower.
No permanent modifications are required. The two oil catch cans work in-line with the dual PCV valves integrated into the valve covers, retaining factory functionality. When intake manifold pressure is at or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV system's check valves close and therefore these hoses experience no flow. Conversely, the PCV system hoses experience controlled vacuum when the engine is idling, at steady state, and decelerating. This would typically draw crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after high-load operation.
NOTE: No inline check valve is required, as the Radium catch cans are pressure sealed. This allows for a direct connection to the intake manifold.
