Radium Engineering Fluid Lock CCV Dual Oil Catch Can Kit for 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette LT1

Radium Engineering oil catch cans feature oversized 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, two-stage oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. These kits include everything necessary for a complete installation. The catch can draws oil and water condensation from crankcase gases that would otherwise enter the intake manifold. Additionally, the closed system prevents unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin.

The anodized aluminum catch can bracket mounts near the front left side of the engine. A polished aluminum plate attaches to 3 original ground connection points. Due to its aluminum construction, it conducts electricity. The dual catch can bracket, also made of anodized aluminum, attaches to the ground plate.

The dual catch can (CCV) kit retains factory functionality and is compatible with both wet and dry sump LT1 engines. On wet sump engines, each valve cover vents to the intake through its respective catch can. On dry sump engines, the left valve cover vents to the intake through the corresponding catch can. The right valve cover vents to the intake through the dry sump and then to the corresponding catch can. At low loads, these cans experience atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is under high load (wide open throttle), these vents experience high crankcase outflow. This would normally cause oil and sludge accumulation in the air filter intake tube.
