OIL CATCH CAN OVERVIEW: These universal oil catch can kits are designed for installation on vehicles that exhibit oil accumulation from the crankcase ventilation system.

Radium Engineering offers bolt-on oil catch can kits for various applications. For uncovered vehicles, these universal kits are the next best alternative. Each kit includes Radium Engineering’s patented Fluid Lock® universal oil catch can with a universal mounting bracket, one run of PCV hose, a selection of adapters and hose ends. Various adapters and hose ends are supplied to achieve optimal hose routing. Some adapters will not be used. Additional adapters can be purchased from Radium Engineering.

RADIUM CATCH CAN FEATURES: The catch cans are machined from solid 6061 aluminum. The two halves and all ports are O-ring sealed, ensuring they are safe for pressurized (forced induction) applications. The main inlet and outlet ports are 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female threads. An integrated dipstick unscrews for a quick oil level check. These catch cans feature an advanced air-oil separation system. As shown below, a stainless steel baffle plate is incorporated. Radium’s unique Fluid Lock® mechanism keeps oil trapped in the catch can and prevents it from spilling into the vent hoses when the can is full.

RADIUM CAN MAINTENANCE: These catch cans incorporate Radium Engineering’s patent pending Fluid Lock® technology. If the can fills and is not emptied, an internal valve closes, preventing contaminants from leaving the can and entering the engine. Furthermore, it maintains normal ventilation through the can, preventing engine damage. For draining, there are several options depending on the application. If room permits, the lower body that contains all contaminants simply unscrews. However, if there is no room to remove the bottom of the catch can, other options are available. It features a 4AN ORB (7/16"-20) female threaded drain port. A 4AN ORB plug is included.
