Radium Engineering PCV Oil Catch Can Kit for Toyota Tacoma 05-23 Fluid Lock

COMPATIBILITY: Toyota Tacoma 2005-2023 (V6 Models)

Radium Engineering Oil Catch Cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, two-stage oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. These kits install using factory holes and integrate seamlessly with surrounding components. They do NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), so they are emissions compliant and legal for track use. Closed-loop systems remove oil and sludge from PCV gasses before they are routed to the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. Integrated dipsticks in the catch cans allow for easy inspection of the accumulated fluid. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications are required.

20-0838-FL CATCH CAN KIT, PCV, TACOMA 2005-2023, FLUID LOCK. The PCV oil catch can kit installs in-line between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. When intake manifold pressure is near or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valves close and thus these hoses experience no flow. Conversely, PCV hoses experience controlled vacuum when the engine is idling, cruising, and decelerating. This would typically draw unwanted crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after high-load operation. Note: No in-line check valve is required, as Radium catch cans are pressure-sealed. This means a direct connection to the intake manifold is permitted.

20-0839-FL CATCH CAN KIT, CCV, TACOMA 05-23, FLUID LOCK. The CCV oil catch can mounts to threaded engine bay studs on the inner fender with the included supplementary bracket. To retain factory functionality, the CCV oil catch can installs in-line between the crankcase vent (CCV) port and the intake tube. At low loads, it is subject to atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is under high load (WOT), the line experiences high flow from the crankcase to the intake system. This would typically cause oil and sludge to build up in the air filter intake tube. The CCV oil catch can captures this debris and facilitates clean, filtered air to return to the intake system.
