Radium Engineering catch cans feature oversized 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, a two-stage oil separation system, and an o-ring sealed dipstick. These kits include everything necessary for a complete installation. The can plumbs in-line with the PCV valve and extracts oil and water condensation from the crankcase gases that would otherwise enter the intake manifold. Additionally, the closed system prevents unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. FEATURES: Effectively increases octane and engine performance through cleaner intake air. Prevents oil build-up on intake tract or intercooler walls, throttle body, intake manifold, etc. Excessive oil build-up can be an indicator of a damaged engine. Reduces hydrocarbon emissions. The anodized aluminum catch can bracket mounts to the front-right cylinder head. COMPATIBILITY: 05-07 Corvette (LS2), 06-13 Corvette Z06 (LS7), 08-13 Corvette (LS3), 10-13 Corvette GS (LS3 with wet sump), 10-13 Corvette GS (LS3 with dry sump), 2013 Corvette 427 (LS7). NOTES: 1. Due to the alternator's location, 20-0785-FL is not compatible with ZR1 (LS9). However, 20-0786-FL is compatible.2. Use 20-0260-FL instead for C5 LS1 and LS6 Chevrolet Corvettes. Starting in 2004 with Gen IV LS engines, General Motors replaced the PCV valve with a fixed 2.5mm orifice. This measure was, presumably, to save production costs and eliminate a maintenance part. NOTE: A PCV valve serves multiple purposes in the crankcase; it promotes negative pressure and prevents boost pressure. Additionally, in the event of a backfire, the PCV valve prevents combustible vapors from igniting in the crankcase. The PCV catch can kit improves the performance of the Gen IV LS crankcase ventilation system. The catch can is plumbed in-line between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. When intake manifold pressure is near or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valve closes, and this hose, therefore, experiences no flow. Conversely, PCV hoses experience metered vacuum when the engine is at idle, steady state cruise, and decelerating. This would normally draw crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after high load operation. Because the OEM 2.5mm orifice is restrictive, a replacement baffled oil fill cap is included to extract as much crankcase blow-by as possible. The anodized aluminum catch can bracket mounts to the right hood latch. COMPATIBILITY: 05-07 Corvette (LS2), 06-13 Corvette Z06 (LS7), 08-13 Corvette (LS3), 09-13 Corvette ZR1 (LS9), 10-13 Corvette GS (LS3 with wet sump), 10-13 Corvette GS (LS3 with dry sump), 2013 Corvette 427 (LS7). To retain factory functionality, the crankcase ventilation system (CCV) catch can is plumbed in-line between the crankcase vent (CCV) port and the intake tract. At low loads, this can is subject to atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is under high load (wide open throttle), these breathers experience high outward flow from the crankcase. This would normally lead to oil and sludge accumulation in the air filter intake tract.

NOTE: Due to the alternator's location, the dual catch can kit is not compatible with the ZR1 (LS9). This kit includes both the PCV and CCV catch cans for maximum engine protection.
