Radium Engineering Universal Double Catch Can Kit

OIL CATCH CAN OVERVIEW: When properly designed, an oil catch can prevents sludge build-up in the intake manifold, intercooler, throttle body, etc. They effectively increase fuel octane and improve engine performance with cleaner intake air. Furthermore, excessive oil accumulation can be an indicator of a damaged engine. Likewise, they reduce hydrocarbon emissions.

NOTES: 1. Depending on the PCV system design, some engines may require multiple catch cans. 2. Catch cans are NOT designed to be used with aftermarket crankcase vacuum pumps.
RADIUM CATCH CAN FEATURES: These catch cans are used in Radium Engineering's application-specific catch can kits. They are machined from solid 6061 aluminum. The two halves and all ports are O-ring sealed, so they are safe for pressurized (forced induction) applications. The main inlet and outlet ports feature 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female threads. The integrated M8x1.25mm threaded dipstick unscrews for a quick oil level check.

These catch cans feature an advanced air-oil separation system. As shown below, they incorporate a stainless steel baffle plate.

This secondary baffle prevents contaminants from leaving the catch can. Furthermore, there are two stainless steel internal air-oil separators: one at the inlet and one at the outlet. These separators are easily washable and reusable.

RADIUM CANISTER MAINTENANCE: These catch cans incorporate Radium Engineering's patent-pending Fluid Lock® technology. If the canister becomes full and is not drained, an internal valve closes, preventing contaminants from leaving the canister and entering the engine. Additionally, it maintains normal ventilation through the canister, preventing engine damage. For draining, there are several options depending on the application. If space permits, the bottom of the canister can be used. The lid retaining all contaminants easily unscrews. However, if there is no space to remove the bottom of the canister, a 4AN ORB (7/16"-20) female threaded drain port is available. A 4AN ORB plug is included.
