Toyota Tacoma 05-23 CCV Oil Catch Can Kit Fluid Lock Radium Engineering

COMPATIBILITY: 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma (V6 Models)

Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, two-stage oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. These kits install using factory holes and integrate seamlessly with surrounding components. They do NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), so they are emissions compliant and track legal. Closed-loop systems remove oil and sludge from the PCV gasses before it is routed into the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. The integrated dipsticks on the catch cans allow for easy inspection of the fluid accumulated. No cutting, drilling or permanent modification is required.

20-0838-FL CATCH CAN KIT, PCV, 2005-2023 TACOMA, FLUID LOCK. The PCV catch can kit installs in line between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. When intake manifold pressure is near or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valves close and thus these hoses experience no flow. Conversely, the PCV hoses experience controlled vacuum when the engine is idling, cruising, and decelerating. This would normally draw unwanted crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after high-load operation. Note: An inline check valve is not required, as Radium catch cans are pressure sealed. This means a direct connection to the intake manifold is allowed.

20-0839-FL CATCH CAN KIT, CCV, 05-23 TACOMA, FLUID LOCK. The CCV catch can mounts to threaded engine bay mounts on the inner fender, with the included supplemental bracket. To maintain factory functionality, the CCV catch can is installed in line between the crankcase vent port (CCV) and the intake tube. At low loads, it is subject to atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is at high load (WOT), the line experiences high flow from the crankcase into the intake system. This would normally cause oil and sludge to collect in the air filter intake tube. The CCV catch can captures this blow-by, and facilitates the return of clean filtered air to the intake system.
