Advanced Display Unit

We are pleased to announce the new ECUMASTER Racing Dash family of products. We designed the ADU5 and ADU7 in response to market demand for a cost-effective dashboard display with data logging capabilities. Our specific goal was to create a quality, complete, and fully customizable solution for racing drivers. We consulted with professional drivers and race engineers and designed the ADU to exceed their expectations.

Above all, the ADU is designed to display all critical information legibly, along with a comprehensive strategy for alarm visualization.

Our Advanced Display Units are available in 5-inch and 7-inch versions. Both versions feature high-resolution, high-visibility anti-glare screens, ensuring perfect visibility in any lighting condition. The ADU includes several pre-configured pages that the end-user can customize to display the necessary data for each stage of the race (e.g., practice, qualifying, race, troubleshooting, etc.). Pages can be changed manually or automatically (based on defined conditions). Each channel displayed on a page (gauges, icons, text, etc.) can be easily modified in real-time using intuitive Windows software. Our comprehensive overlay system makes it easy to display various pages for important data (e.g., low oil pressure, best lap, etc.), regardless of the page being displayed. The ADU is also equipped with 15 ultra-bright RGB LEDs that can be used as an advanced shift light and can be modified using user-defined logic (for alarms, low fuel, etc.). Using IR beacons or a GPS system, the dash becomes a powerful lap timer with a predicted time function. Selecting the Qualifying page activates "Qualifying Mode," which uses an advanced lap time prediction based on a "best" reference lap that updates automatically. User-configurable timers can be set to add additional functionalities (pit stop timer, etc.). The ADU also supports thermal cameras to monitor brake disc or tire temperatures (up to 16 points per tire).
Communication with other devices in the car is achieved via two integrated independent CAN-BUS communication ports. CAN templates are provided for most popular ECUs and are fully configurable, allowing our hardware to be connected to virtually any engine management system.
To ensure all functions operate smoothly, our device is based on a 32-bit automotive controller coupled with a state-of-the-art graphics processor. This combination provides the perfect working environment for any engineer or driver and ensures high-quality graphics with anti-aliasing at 50 frames per second.
For more detailed analysis, data channels can be logged to a USB flash drive at a frequency of up to 500 Hz. In-depth data analysis is possible thanks to our state-of-the-art software.
All these essential features and more are housed in a robust, black anodized, CNC-machined enclosure.
