The FMIC.Pro oil catch can is an oil vapor separation system designed specifically for Honda K20C1 VTEC engines. Its function is to effectively capture oil vapors and contaminants before they enter the intake system. In turbocharged engines, it improves intake cleanliness and engine stability, eliminating common problems such as power loss, carbon buildup, oil contamination of the intercooler, and the risk of leaks in the supercharging system.

During engine operation, some combustion gases enter the crankcase. The higher the power and boost pressure, the greater the amount of gases and oil vapors that are channeled through the crankcase ventilation system. In the factory setup, these vapors return to the intake, leading to:
