The FMIC.Pro oil catch can is an oil vapor separation system specifically designed for EA888 Gen2 2.0 TFSI/TSI engines. Its function is to capture oil vapors and contaminants before they enter the intake system. In turbocharged engines, it significantly improves intake cleanliness and engine stability by eliminating common issues such as power loss, carbon buildup, intercooler oil contamination, and leaks in the supercharging system.

The FMIC.Pro system is easy to install, simple to maintain, and is recommended for both stock engines and those with significant modifications.

During engine operation, some exhaust gases enter the crankcase. As power and supercharging increase, the amount of oil vapors passing through the PCV system also increases. In the factory setup, these vapors return to the intake, leading to: • reduced combustion quality and lower power • carbon buildup on intake valves • oil accumulation in the intercooler, reducing efficiency • lower octane of the air-fuel mixture

The FMIC.Pro oil catch can prevents these problems with a multi-stage internal filtration system. Clean gases return to the intake, while oil and contaminants remain in the catch can.
