This new updated version is developed and designed to support up to three external fuel pumps, each with an individual fuel supply from the surge tank. Each fuel pump utilizes its own AN-8 outlet, making it possible to choose between diverse setups.

This fuel surge tank is the perfect solution for those who run mechanical fuel pumps or Aeromotive, Protec, Fuelab, and many more inline brushless fuel pumps mounted inline. High flow thanks to its oversized AN-8 outlets for all needs. The 3.0-liter 2G fuel surge tank for external fuel pumps uses 6x AN-8 (3/4 UNF) ports and is delivered with 6x AN-8 (3/4) to AN-8 Male adapters and 2x AN-8 (3/4 UNF) plugs (for those who choose to use one or two external fuel pumps). With this setup, you are able to supply extreme fuel flow to your engine, and thanks to the oversized 3.0-liter design of the fuel surge tank, you will have plenty of fuel under all conditions at all times. The 3.0-liter 2G fuel surge tank for external fuel pumps works as a buffer so that the fuel pumps always get fuel for high horsepower, as the return line from the engine is routed directly into the tank, always keeping it filled. Nuke Performance universal lightweight brackets fit most external fuel pumps and include 60mm adapters for pumps such as Bosch 044, Deatschwerks 250il, Deatschwerks 350il, AEM 380 LPH, and many other fuel pumps of the same size. Also, 55mm and 43mm inserts are available as accessories for other inline fuel pumps, such as the popular Ti Automotive Walbro GSL392. The bracket is available in both single and dual versions, is extremely lightweight, and lets you trust your setup even when pushing your car beyond known limits.

How does a fuel surge tank work?

How does it work, and how does it flow? Your original fuel pump or aftermarket fuel pump, either within the original fuel tank or aftermarket fuel cell, works as a lift pump that fills the surge tank and makes sure that it is full to maximize fuel flow and minimize the risk of fuel starvation, which can be severely damaging to your inline fuel pumps and your engine. Our fuel surge tank is available in several different setups, each designed to deliver maximum performance. It includes a machined aluminum mounting bracket with a six-bolt pattern that guarantees a secure attachment in any installation. It is available for external fuel pumps and also for internal fuel pumps inside the tank. Depending on which setup you choose, they come with a varying amount of electrical connections, but regardless of model, they are always equipped with our oversized electrical connectors that can handle up to 10 times the current used. The surge tanks for external fuel pumps are available in two sizes - a 3.0-liter version and a smaller 2.0-liter version for installations where space is an issue. Delivered with 6 fittings and plugs AN-8 for all possible setups. Delivered with a machined aluminum mounting bracket for easy installation and 6x AN-8 (3/4 UNF) to AN-8 Male fittings and 2x AN-8 (3/4 UNF) plugs to use when running 1 or 2 fuel pumps and wanting to block the remaining outlets.
