The ECUMaster AS-SR M8 Rev.2 Battery Isolator is a professional motorsport master relay, designed for battery isolation and engine shutdown in compliance with FIA regulations. Tailored for demanding competition environments, this device features an all-solid-state design, with no mechanical components, ensuring exceptional durability, reliability, and lifespan. Despite its robust construction, the isolator weighs a mere 83g.

The unit includes integrated alternator overvoltage protection, eliminating the need for additional external components and safeguarding sensitive electronics from potential damage during emergency shutdowns.

The isolator can be controlled either by two external switches or remotely via a CAN-bus message, for example, from an ECUMaster Power Management Unit (PMU16) in the event of an impact or other critical situation. Configuration and diagnostics are available via CAN-bus communication, enabling the device to transmit valuable status and diagnostic information for system monitoring and troubleshooting.

To ensure safety and reliability, the device incorporates integrated over-temperature and over-current protection, while a multi-color LED indicator provides clear status feedback. The isolator is housed in an IP67-rated, sealed, anodized aluminum enclosure, making it suitable for demanding motorsport applications. Key Features
