Product details
Radium Engineering PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve. Do not confuse this with a simple one-way check valve. The internal plunger of the PCV valve dynamically meters crankcase ventilation air flow depending on engine load. Proper PCV valves prevent the vacuum leak a check valve would generate at low loads. Additionally, in the event of a backfire, the PCV valve prevents flammable vapors from igniting in the crankcase.
The PCV valves can be used on the outlet of any Radium Engineering Oil Catch Can or any related part that uses -10AN ORB threads.
