Product details
Alloy atmospheric dump valve for Subaru Impreza (1993-1995 models). Manufactured from aluminium, this atmospheric bypass valve vents the intake air into the atmosphere, creating the characteristic "whoosh" sound often associated with rally cars when lifting off the throttle. This allows for faster throttle response and higher clamping load to maintain boost pressure more reliably.
All Forge Motorsport twin-piston atmospheric valves have been designed and built with the intent of venting 100% of the residual intake air remaining in the forced induction system to the atmosphere upon throttle lift-off.
Forge Motorsport and its authorised distributors accept no responsibility for any adverse effects resulting from the installation of this valve on a vehicle whose engine management system, whether factory or aftermarket, is not capable of compensating for the loss of metered air through a vent-to-atmosphere valve.
