The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 1992-2000 Honda Civic promotes greater cooling efficiency throughout the engine. This thermostat significantly reduces high engine temperatures produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications. Once the engine reaches its optimal temperature, the Mishimoto racing thermostat opens at a lower temperature than standard thermostats, allowing coolant to flow through the engine sooner to reduce and maintain lower temperatures. Compatible with the 1992-2000 Honda Civic. Activates at a lower temperature to allow coolant to flow through the system sooner. Allows for lower engine temperatures. Mishimoto Activation: 68°C (154°F) / OEM Activation: 78°C (172°F). Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
