Dynapro strength is a combination of process and design. The real stress flow forging process realigns the internal grain structure of the metal to flow within the contour of the caliper body.

This produces a part with superior strength over billet machined or cast counterparts. The body design, generated through Finite Element Analysis (FEA), features a radial transition between the piston bores and the caliper bridges. This eliminates machined steps and shoulders in this critical strength area and substantially increases resistance to deflection and body separation under high loads. Structural deflection and volumetric displacement testing has proven the effectiveness of this innovative design. Simply put, it delivers a firm pedal with outstanding stopping power. The Narrow DynaPro accommodates rotors up to 12.19” and features thick-wall stainless steel pistons for additional protection against corrosion and pad-to-fluid heat transfer. All DynaPro calipers can also be fitted with Thermlock pistons for maximum thermal protection in sustained high heat applications. The DynaPro incorporates other Wilwood-exclusive performance enhancements. Stainless steel SRS bridge plates eliminate caliper bridge wear from pad drag, while dampening engagement noise and vibration.
