Upgraded B58 turbocharger with a custom machined aluminum compressor wheel and high-flow 9-blade turbine wheel, Plug and Play fitment. Turbocharger for Toyota Supra MK5 (A90) with 340 hp 3.0 I6 B58 engine.
The turbocharger offers up to 170% more power (260 hp additional) than factory specifications. It is an excellent choice for those looking for a little more power in their daily-driven vehicle.
Main features: - Potential power of 580-600 hp, - Quick response thanks to the custom machined aluminum compressor wheel, - Higher-flow 9-blade turbine wheel, - High air-fuel ratio, including high peak torque reached at low engine speeds.
Details on the turbocharger construction: - Original BorgWarner actuator, - Precision machined exhaust. Compressor housings + seal plate, - Upgraded thrust bearing system to withstand higher boost pressure, - Compressor and turbine wheels are balanced separately, and then the entire core is high-speed balanced using VSR balancing machines at speeds similar to vehicle operation.
Other important modifications: The turbos are designed to work with approximately 600 hp. To reach that power level, it is also necessary to adjust the fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems.
