RacingLine Lowering Sport Spring Kit for Skoda Octavia IV vRS 2.0 TSI TDI

RacingLine Sport Springs for the new Skoda Octavia vRS IV NX hatchback/sedan, with 2.0 TSI or 2.0 TDI engines. These springs have been meticulously developed so that the vRS maintains a smooth and dynamic ride.

RacingLine Sport Springs replace all four standard springs with redesigned, progressively stiffer, and slightly shorter sport springs. By lowering the Octavia's height by approximately 25mm at the front and 20mm at the rear (depending on the model and version), the suspension travel is preserved to ensure an optimal balance between comfort and handling. If you opt for springs lower or stiffer than RacingLine's, the car tends to bounce and suffer jolts, as the shock absorbers do not correctly adjust to the stiffness of the springs, and they run out of travel.

The result? The vehicle's center of gravity is lowered, reducing body roll for better dynamics, without sacrificing ride quality or comfort.

Additionally, the car's aesthetic is subtly transformed. By eliminating those unsightly wheel arch gaps, the vRS looks as it always should have from the factory!

RacingLine's extensive development program has specified progressive rate springs to preserve ride comfort in normal use, but stiffening them at the end of the stroke. This progressive rate spring construction means that the spring rate in the middle part of the stroke is very similar to standard. It is only towards the end of the spring's travel (i.e., when braking or cornering at high speed) that RacingLine has designed the spring to stiffen. This progressive rate spring design is the secret to excellent ride comfort combined with dynamic performance.

The sport springs are developed to be fully compatible with vehicles equipped with the Octavia's switchable DCC (adjustable chassis control) shock absorbers.
