With the engine not incorporating a bypass valve from the factory, Forge have developed a twin piston dump valve that not only gives you an incredible loud sound when lifting off the throttle, but also improves your throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. Its design helps the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, while also reducing the stress on the impeller. Without removing this stress, your turbo could suffer from premature failure, especially on modified engines and vehicles running modifications. Our dump valve kit includes two types of springs with different spring rates to suit both stock and stage 1 setups. We also have additional springs for stage 2 and above, which can be ordered via our website depending on your vehicle’s engine modifications including hybrid turbo conversions. In the box:
