The I-beam connecting rods for Opel 2.0L 16v are manufactured from high-strength 4340 steel and designed for high performance, extreme durability, and added rigidity. The bushings, made from AMPCO 18 material, provide excellent wear and fatigue resistance, and feature a radial groove for oil supply. They are shot-peened to relieve internal stresses and undergo multi-stage heat treatment to increase their stiffness. Strict manufacturing process tolerances ensure a perfect fit and optimize oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 hex head bolts with a strength of 220,000 psi; optionally, ARP L19 bolts can be chosen. The connecting rod kit includes ARP moly oil and complete assembly instructions.
