Product details
This adjustable pressure switch offers a solution for activating sequential fuel pumps based on boost pressure. This normally open (N.O.) switch features an adjustable set point from 3-15psi to suit any application. The stainless steel body features a 1/8" NPT male port. Connector and pins are included (requires assembly). This switch ONLY activates with positive pressure.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
-DO NOT run main fuel pump power through this switch. Use to trigger a relay.
-This switch can be used to activate any device, not just a fuel pump, as long as the current draw is less than 0.5 amps.
-Please refer to the installation instructions in the link above before purchasing.
-The switch does NOT come preset to any particular pressure; it MUST be calibrated using the method outlined in the installation instructions.
-This switch may also be used with other fluids (oil, fuel, coolant, etc.). DO NOT use with brake fluid.
NOTE: The relay trigger signal passing through the adjustable pressure switch can be either a ground or 12v signal, as long as the other end of the low current relay coil wire is connected to an opposing source.
