SCG-1: Boost Controller with Solenoid and Wideband Oxygen Gauge

Innovate Motorsports’ SCG-1 represents a revolutionary approach to boost control, integrating an advanced standalone controller with Innovate’s industry-leading DirectDigital™ wideband air/fuel ratio technology. When designing a boost controller, we knew we had to deliver more functionality than other currently available products, while maintaining the ease of use our customers demand. Rather than re-using the same boost control technology used for decades, we chose to combine our advanced oxygen sensor control technology with our unique new solenoid control, providing superior accuracy, response and safety. Additionally, we integrated a programmable shift light and housed the entire assembly in a compact gauge body for simple installation and use. Like all our air/fuel ratio products, the SCG-1 utilizes our DirectDigital wideband air/fuel ratio technology to provide real-time feedback. This air/fuel ratio information is displayed on an integrated OLED display along with manifold pressure and wastegate duty cycle. The air/fuel ratio information is also utilized to provide a user-configurable boost cut, which enhances the safety margin over most competing solutions, which only rely on boost threshold. The SCG-1 features a fully programmable analog output, ideal for applications utilizing standalone ECUs, piggyback ECUs or external data loggers. The SCG-1 also has a digital input/output for integration with our other Modular Tuning System (MTS) devices. This same digital output can be used to log air/fuel ratio, solenoid duty cycle, engine speed and manifold pressure with our free LogWorks PC software, helping you to optimize your boost curve.
