Forge Motorsport FMINLD1 Carbon Fiber Air Intake for Toyota Yaris GR

New FORGE intake duct for the Toyota Yaris GR that allows you to add an attractive carbon fiber part to the engine compartment, while keeping the intake air temperature low during sporty driving, on the track or in rallies.

3D printed test parts were used to ensure optimal size and geometry. This high-performance part is much larger than the original and fits perfectly into the front bumper and air filter box, thus minimizing the effect of engine heat.

During track tests, the original duct showed a strong influence of thermal impregnation on the intake air temperature, which fluctuated drastically. The FORGE intake duct reduced the intake air temperature and kept it at a more constant level (a reduced and constant temperature is critical, as any temperature spike causes the ECU to retard ignition and reduce available power).

The design of the Forge intake duct incorporates free flow to the upper and lower openings of the air filter box, whereas the stock design does not offer this flow to the lower opening, and the upper opening is small and not completely sealed. It is important to understand that the lower opening is much more important for the performance of your Yaris GR.
