Replacing the FMIC gearbox oil filter housing is a good solution to eliminate the faulty OEM 02E305045 plastic housing, which often cracks and warps. Replacement is recommended with every filter change. Our housing is made of 6061 aluminum and features cooling fins over its entire surface. It works perfectly in both stock and modified vehicles, where oil is subjected to higher loads during dynamic driving and heats up much more.
