MMX High-Performance Ignition Coils for BMW N and S Series

MMX High-Performance Ignition Coils are a direct plug-and-play upgrade over your factory coils. Whether your engine is standard or modified, you will immediately benefit from the increased energy output and stronger, more consistent spark the MMX coils deliver.
The function of a coil pack is to transform the 12-volt output from your car's battery into a much higher voltage. This intensified electrical energy provides a more reliable source for spark plug operation, improving engine performance by igniting the fuel-air mixture more efficiently.
We have spent a lot of our development time optimising the energy levels of the coil pack to ensure operating temperatures are controlled. Over the life of our coil pack, this thermal management will help prevent future breakdowns.
Replacement is even more advisable on older engines that still use the original coil packs. A new set makes for an excellent preventative maintenance upgrade to stave off the risk of misfires caused by ageing and gradual wearing out of your stock coil packs.

Additional Information
Coil packs that generate more than 10% additional energy over original coils will overheat and degrade over time. We have increased the energy output gain to a level that will keep the coils as cool as possible for as long as possible.
This level of increase represents the sweet spot of diminishing performance returns between the amount of extra energy benefitting spark potency and the rapidly increasing internal temperatures for long-term reliability and performance.
Installation Information
