GT 48 Curved Vane Rotor
GT-48 curved vane rotors are engineered for the extreme conditions of professional motorsports. The superior heat absorption and dissipation characteristics of these thick-walled directional vane rotors are key to preventing overheating and achieving long rotor and pad life. All rotors are cast from premium grade long grain carbon iron for durability, thermal stability, and resistance to warpage. Each GT rotor is precision machined to remove stress points and unnecessary weight from the pad contact surface. The faces and OD are precision machined to within 0.001" to ensure flatness, parallelism, and run-out. An asymmetrical face slot pattern provides smoother engagement through reduced harmonics and improved thermal balance between the rotor ID and OD. Each rotor is individually dynamically balanced for vibration-free performance at any speed. These rotors provide the highest cooling capacity and longest life for extreme short track and road course braking. Performance Features: Heavy-duty 48-vane iron castings.
