The GenV Motorsport range incorporates, within the GenV modular range of external wastegates, a heat sink designed using CFD and validated in real-world conditions between the valve body and the actuator. While all GenV wastegates include a ceramic insulator between the body and the actuator to minimize heat transfer (and maximize their lifespan), the Motorsport version goes a step further by increasing the distance between both components, using both convection within the engine compartment and physical shielding to prevent excessive heat from reaching the actuator. This also contributes to the cooling of the valves and guides, thus extending their lifespan in demanding environments. The Motorsport variant is, without a doubt, the most suitable for the extreme conditions typical of endurance racing!

The GenV WG40 CompGate40 external wastegate is a race-proven, 40mm external wastegate with excellent value for money – the highest flowing in its class. GenV offers extensive user configuration, world-leading thermal performance, fatigue resistance, and exceptional flow performance for optimal control and durability. The GenV range offers more features, options, and performance than any other wastegate. Turbosmart's GenV external wastegate was a complete overhaul of a classic model, and the only feature that remained from the Gen4 range was the mounting orientation. Optimized and internally validated using CFD for maximum flow and optimal thermal management.

A direct fit upgrade for all Turbosmart Gen4 wastegates, featuring our unique collar locking system, variable actuator cap and base for optional 360-degree routing of reference hoses, V-band clamps, optional liquid cooling provision, 1/8" NPT reference ports, and supplied with the full range of available springs.
