Forge Motorsport FMDVR60R Recirculation Valve & Kit for Mini R60 2011+ Peugeot 208 2012+

Specifically designed for Peugeot/Mini N18 engines (Cooper S from 2011, JCW Cooper S from 2013, R58 Coupe from 2012, Peugeot 208 GTi from 2012 including the Sport model, RCZ THP 156 and 200 from 2011). This product is recommended when turbo pressure has been increased through remapping, or simply as a solution to the fragility of the original component. The main known issue with the stock valve is a break in the diaphragm that prevents the valve from opening fully. This doesn't always trigger the engine fault light because the valve can be forced open by turbo pressure. This is a very common problem. The other common issue is that the spring cover is made of very thin plastic which becomes brittle over time and eventually fails. This prevents the diaphragm from sealing and also causes the problems described above. This failure can also lead to the wastegate breaking off when removing the turbocharger, and in rarer cases, plastic components entering the turbo and destroying it. The Forge alternative offers a significant improvement in reliability. Its wastegate operates with an all-aluminum piston, replacing the original pressure/vacuum actuated piston, and maintains the original ECU control over the wastegate.

This recirculation valve has been tested on VAG vehicles for many years. The spring is interchangeable for different turbocharger boost levels, and the solenoid connects directly to the included harness connector.
