Forge Motorsport FMDV30.N Recirculation Valve for VAG 1.5 TSI Black

Following on from the success of the FMDV22, Forge Motorsport have developed a recirculation valve for the VAG 1.5 TSI engine. It utilises the tried and tested FMDV008 recirculation valve that has been on the market for some time, and has proven to be robust, durable, and extremely reliable.

Since there is no factory diverter valve fitted to the engine, Forge have reused the FMDV008, which improves throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. Its design aids the turbocharger in maintaining its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also reducing the stress on the impeller. Without this reduction in stress, the turbo could suffer premature failure, especially on modified engines and vehicles.

Like all Forge valves, it can be customised to suit your application with two uprated springs included in the kit. Due to its ingenious design, changing the spring is a simple task: just slacken the bolts holding the top of the valve and pull the spring out. Easy as that!

Due to the exposed position of the original boost pipe and the heat cycling of the engine, the plastic it is made from can deteriorate over time, becoming brittle and prone to boost leaks.

This kit completely replaces this plastic pipe from the turbo to the manifold with a silicone hose (available in various colours). Everything required to install the valve is included in the kit, along with full instructions.

NOTE: This product only works with FMINDK35.

The Forge silicone hose in this kit has been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as fluorosilicone. This means the colour of the silicone hose will stay bright and vibrant, and unlike our competitors, will not deteriorate over time.

This means Forge Motorsport hoses are suitable for use with modern long-life coolants, OAT coolants, and oil mist.

The construction of the hose has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments.

The use of a fluorosilicone liner ensures that Forge silicone hoses are the clear market leader.
