Turbosmart eALV40 Electronic Anti-Lag System Gen V

The Turbosmart eALV40 (Fresh Air By-Pass Anti-Lag Valve) for motorsport & high-performance applications features fully electronic actuation, removing the need for solenoids and tanks of traditional pneumatic systems. It features a 40mm valve diameter and a purpose-designed actuator housing. Multiple connections are also supplied for ease of fitment and fabrication. The fresh-air valve allows incoming charged fresh air from the turbo to be safely diverted into the exhaust manifold upstream of the turbine wheel with the throttle at low opening angles to allow safer turbocharger operation without the throttle-based late combustion event anti-lag which can induce high engine stresses and broken connecting rods. The eALV40 utilises SEMA award-winning technology from Turbosmart’s GenV eWG range, providing unmatched control and a specially sealed guide, suitable for true ALV purpose.
