The BOV50c is the upgraded version of the classic Nuke Performance blow-off valves. It utilizes the same flange as its predecessor, allowing for a quick and simple swap without the need to modify intake piping. Its 50mm (1.97") valve and upgraded diaphragm ensure rapid response and precise pressure release.

Equipped with a low-friction valve guide, the BOV50c V-Band blow-off valve offers extremely fast response and is ready to handle high boost and power. We believe this upgraded version of the popular first-generation blow-off valve has the highest flow capacity for an atmospheric blow-off valve.

Easy to connect to the intake pipe with the included V-Band flange and clamp, ensuring a secure installation even when pushing the engine to the limit. The Nuke Performance BOV50c V-Band blow-off valve includes a machined aluminum V-Band clamp and a weldable aluminum flange. This ensures a secure installation, even when demanded to the limit.

The 60mm aluminum V-Band clamp and flange are included. Optional 51mm (2") hose connector available: adapt the V-Band to your silicone hose.

If needed, we have a stainless steel flange available, as well as a 51mm (2") hose adapter that allows the blow-off valve to be mounted to a silicone hose without the need for welding or custom fabrication. Ideal for any boost pressure level, thanks to its adaptability with a wide selection of interchangeable adjustment springs that suit your specific needs. The Nuke Performance BOV50c V-Band blow-off valve offers unmatched flexibility. A selection of six interchangeable adjustment springs, ideal for all boost pressures. The BOV50c includes a pre-installed blue spring, and changing to another spring is very simple thanks to its three-bolt design.

Select the BOV spring pressure based on the engine's vacuum reading at idle, once the engine has reached its ideal operating temperature. Boost pressure is not related to spring pressure; it depends solely on vacuum. The BOV50c uses upgraded diaphragm technology and a low-friction valve guide to ensure rapid response and flawless operation for any requirement between 200 and 1600+ hp. The 50mm diameter valve moves smoothly with minimal friction, thanks to the hard-anodized, Teflon-treated diaphragm guide. This ensures reliable performance even under rigorous use in motorsport applications.

Top-mounted. The 1/4 BSPP vacuum port gives you endless possibilities for connecting the blow-off valve to your vacuum line. With the 1/4 BSPP vacuum port mounted on the top, it connects effortlessly to your vacuum line for pressure reference. We offer a wide range of fittings, including barbed hose fittings and quick-connect tube adapters, available in straight and banjo versions. What is the function of a blow-off valve and how does it work? An atmospheric blow-off valve (like the Nuke Performance BOV50c) releases boost pressure into the atmosphere when the throttle is closed, preventing compressor surge and ensuring the longevity of the turbocharger. A blow-off valve is essential for the lifespan of the turbocharger, but it also plays an important role in improving performance. By releasing excess pressure, the blow-off valve prevents compressor surge and reduces lag by allowing the turbocharger to spin more quickly when the throttle is reopened.

The necessary vacuum reference "senses" the closing of the throttle, which causes the valve to open and release excess pressure. The Nuke Performance BOV50c uses an oversized 1/4" BSPP vacuum port, which ensures an accurate and rapid vacuum reading.
