JRspec Blow off valve for Mini Peugeot 1.6 Turbo N14 N18
The JR.Spec blow off valve kit is a diaphragm-free, all-aluminum piston valve, eliminating common OEM failures and maintaining ECU control thanks to the included solenoid and wiring harness. The valve operates on a pressure/vacuum principle, and the spring is interchangeable, allowing for a stiffer spring to be installed for higher boost pressure. It is a solution for both modified vehicles and stock vehicles operating in hot climates, and for those looking for a more pronounced valve sound.
Electronically controlled blow-off valves used in MINI/BMW/Peugeot 1.6 Turbo engines (N14/N18, THP) are known for diaphragm failures and brittle plastic retaining rings, which can cause leaks, loss of boost pressure, and, in the worst case, risk of turbo damage from plastic fragments. Product features: - Piston design, no diaphragm: significantly greater durability than OEM - CNC machined aluminum housing - Retains OEM ECU control - Interchangeable spring: can be adapted to different boost pressure levels - Improved boost response and more stable pressure retention
