Forge Motorsport FMDVMK7A Blow-Off Valve for Volkswagen Golf 7 1.8 2.0 TSi 2013+ Silver

Forge Motorsport offers the latest version of their popular solenoid-driven blow-off valve, for 1.8 TSI VAG engines from 2013 onwards (US codes CPKA and CPRA) and 2.0 TSI (European codes CNTA, CHHA, CHHB, CJXB and CJXC / US codes CPLA and CPPA), including the Golf Mk7R.

This open circuit blow-off valve replaces the standard one without any problems, without causing performance loss and without generating error codes or engine warning lights, which is very valuable. This valve is specifically designed to solve the breakage of standard valves, whose fragile diaphragm causes turbo pressure leaks. The latest version of the standard blow-off valves has greater durability, but inevitably the plastic becomes brittle and, in extreme cases, pieces can break off. Forge valves are made of an alloy with a piston that allows for greater reliability than standard ones, as well as reduced turbo response time. This has even been demonstrated in vehicles with over 600 hp! This new valve, once installed, has a much lower height, allowing it to be placed in the small space between the turbocharger and the air filter intake hose. Large blow-off valves and old adapter plates are not compatible with this engine.
