Forge Motorsport FMDV18.B Blow-Off Valve for Volkswagen Up 1.0 Tsi Blue

This valve kit allows the installation of a fast-response blow-off valve on the VAG 1.0 TSI/GTI engine, including the VW UP.

Since the engine does not come equipped with a standard bypass valve, Forge Motorsport has developed a twin-piston blow-off valve that not only produces an incredibly powerful sound when you lift off the accelerator, but also improves throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It is designed to help the turbocharger maintain its optimal speed for when you accelerate, as well as prolong its lifespan.

Due to the exposure of the original compressor hose and the nature of the engine's thermal cycling, the plastic it is made from can deteriorate over time, becoming brittle and prone to leaks. This kit completely replaces the plastic hose from the turbo to the intake manifold with a silicone hose (available in various colors). It includes everything needed for valve installation, along with full instructions. Features:

Unlike other valves on the market, the Forge valve does not trigger the engine warning light (EML).
