Forge Motorsport FMDV004 Open Circuit Twin Piston Dump Valve for Citroën Fiat Ford Opel

Compatible with most turbocharged and MAF-equipped cars. Made from aluminum, this Forge atmospheric blow-off valve releases compressed air, producing the characteristic "pschhht" sound when you lift off the accelerator. This allows for quicker throttle response and a greater load to maintain turbo pressure more safely. Unlike single piston or diaphragm blow-off valves, this one uses counterweight springs and two pistons to prevent the valve from releasing air at idle. This prevents the ruptures that often occur with single piston or diaphragm blow-off valves.

Note: if you order this blow-off valve for a Fiat Punto 1.4 (1993-1999), you will also need the FO-RD8639 mounting kit.

All Forge Motorsport dual-piston atmospheric blow-off valves are designed to vent 100% of the residual compressed air remaining in the intake system when you lift off the throttle. We make every effort to make this product compatible with vehicles equipped with MAF sensors, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with all configurations. Forge Motorsport and its distributors disclaim all responsibility for damages caused by installing this blow-off valve on a vehicle whose programming, original or modified, does not allow for air metering adjustment with an atmospheric blow-off valve such as this one.
