This open-circuit blow-off valve has been designed for Mercedes GDI 2.0 Turbo engines installed in CLA250 with solenoid valve. It is recommended for all vehicles whose turbo pressure has been increased by ECU reprogramming, as well as for vehicles operating in hot climates. It is a solution to many of the problems detected, where the standard rubber diaphragm cracks, causing a loss of turbo pressure. Unfortunately, the fault does not always trigger the engine warning light when the valve is held open by turbo pressure, so it is possible not to realize that power is being lost as a result. The Forge alternative offers much greater reliability. This Forge blow-off valve operates with a solid piston, manufactured entirely from aluminum. It replaces the standard component with a pressure/vacuum actuated piston and maintains standard ECU control over the blow-off valve. All necessary components for assembly are included, with full installation instructions.
