Turbosmart TS-0203-1057 Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow-Off Valve (BOV) for Renault Clio RS 200

Turbosmart's new Kompact EVR07 dual port blow-off valve for the Clio RS 200 replaces the Clio's standard plastic bypass valve with a billet aluminum unit, designed with performance in mind. The dual port valve is a 50/50 recirculating/vent-to-atmosphere valve for that classic high-pressure vent-to-atmosphere sound and quiet low-pressure operation. The stock valve can leak boost, and if you're looking for more power, it will struggle to hold it. Its plastic construction makes it brittle over time and can eventually crack, causing major boost leaks. Turbosmart's Kompact offers race-bred capabilities in a direct replacement for the Clio's factory blow-off valve. A lightweight piston, precisely matched to each individual valve body, ensures excellent response and reliability. Due to the fine tolerance between the piston and cylinder, the Shortie does not require an O-ring between the body and piston to seal the blow-off valve. This improves response, reduces maintenance required, and improves long-term durability. The product includes a Turbosmart boost pressure reference adapter, which allows access to boost reference without the need for destructive methods, such as drilling the intake manifold. This means the modification is completely reversible, which is important when selling the car.
