This valve is an upgrade for the 2.0 turbocharged M133 DE20 LA engine (265 kW and 355 HP version) fitted to the Mercedes AMG A45 up to 2015. The engine, as supplied by AMG, has a port for a blow-off valve on the side of the turbo, but it is sealed. While this is not an issue for the standard setup, increasing turbo pressure by remapping the ECU can affect driving and cause the car to jerk when accelerating sharply, ultimately reducing the turbo's lifespan. Our valve installs directly onto the turbo and comes with the necessary components to generate the vacuum that actuates it. The valve features an aluminum piston for durability, is fully serviceable, and can be rebuilt with a range of springs to suit your power level.
Installed on my A45 AMG Facelift. It takes some time to install, but once it's in, it's worth it in my opinion. It sounds great, loud enough to make you smile but not annoying or shrill. It's also a great addition for anyone going Stage 2. Thanks again.
