Nissan CA18 H-Beam connecting rods are made of high-strength 4340 steel and designed for high performance and extreme durability. The bushings are made of aluminum-silicon/bronze and feature a radial groove that acts as an oil reservoir. These connecting rods have a grooved pin end that minimizes pin deformation under high inertial loads while reducing weight. They are shot-peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase their rigidity. Strict tolerances in the production process ensure a perfect fit and optimize oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 head bolts with a strength of 220,000 psi; optionally, 260,000 psi ARP L19 material can be purchased as an upgrade. The complete kit is supplied with ARP molybdenum lubricant and complete assembly instructions.
