I-beam connecting rods for the Fiat 2.0L Coupé are manufactured from 4340 high-tensile steel, designed to provide high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. The bushings, made of AMPCO 18 material, provide excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial groove for oil reservoir. They undergo shot peening to relieve internal stresses and a multi-stage heat treatment to increase stiffness. Strict production tolerances ensure a perfect fit and optimized oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 hex head bolts with a strength of 220,000 psi. Optionally, 260,000 psi ARP L19 bolts can be used as an upgrade. The complete kit includes ARP Moly lubricant and full assembly instructions.
