JRspec GTX2871R+ BB (GTX2874R) Turbocharger

The JRspec GTX2871R+ BB (GTX2874R) turbocharger is built on high-quality NSK ball bearings (dual ball bearings, made in Japan) and is 4 mm larger than the standard model. Its CNC-machined forged aluminum wheel allows for significantly larger displacements with a response similar to the standard version. It is assembled in the EU with perfectly fitting parts, made from the highest quality materials and using state-of-the-art precision machinery. Its 5 stages of rotor balancing, reaching 250,000 rpm, guarantee trouble-free operation even in extreme high-temperature conditions and during recharging. JRspec turbochargers are tested in motorsports, used, among others, in drift cars by Tsunami (2x R30 Turbo 2x JRspec GT42R JB engines, providing approximately 2000 hp), in drift by Paweł Trela (2JZ engine, JRspec GTX3582R + BB turbo, about 900 hp), Kornel Prus (LS7 engine, JRspec GT45R JB turbo, over 1000 hp) and in many high-performance street cars. The ball bearings used significantly improve the turbine's response, so the engine reacts to the throttle much faster, reaching high torque at much lower revolutions than in the case of turbines with journal bearings; this is extremely useful in drift and street cars, where engine flexibility is critical.
