JRspec turbochargers are motorsport-tested, used, among others, in racing cars by Tsunami (2x R30 Turbo 2x JRspec GT42R JB engines, producing approx. 2000 HP), in drifting by Paweł Trela (2JZ engine, JRspec GTX3582R + BB turbo, approx. 900 HP), Kornel Prus (LS7 engine, JRspec GT45R JB turbo, over 1000 HP) and in many powerful street cars. The ball bearings used significantly improve turbine response, allowing the engine to react to the throttle more quickly, reaching high torque at much lower revolutions than in the case of turbines with journal bearings.
