Smaller, Lighter, Faster – the Turbosmart TS-1 series of turbochargers has been developed by leveraging modern materials, design and manufacturing techniques to create a range of turbochargers that meets the demands of both motorsport competitors and performance enthusiasts.
TS-1 Series oil-cooled turbochargers feature lightweight investment cast stainless steel turbine housings, a proprietary bearing and main shaft combination providing unbelievable transient response – with the performance, quality, reliability and support Turbosmart is renowned for.
The ultra-low rotational mass of our unique bearing and shaft assembly is combined with aggressive compressor aero to ensure high levels of performance at low shaft speeds. In addition, a unique Inconel T14 turbine wheel is incorporated to ensure power is maintained at high loads and flow rates.
The TS-1 turbocharger series takes a holistic approach to increasing engine performance, aiming to achieve power through lower back pressure and high-performance turbines, while offering a faster, lighter and more compact response than other solutions on the market. Oil-cooled InTS-1 turbochargers, oil and water-cooled TS-2 turbochargers, V-Band flange, various T3 and T4 flange options, reverse rotation (selected sizes), various AR options, internal and external wastegate options available.
Features: Unrivalled transient response, aggressive aero with 7+7 split wheels, lightweight 310s investment cast stainless steel turbine housings, lightweight aluminium compressor covers, CFD-designed housings for optimal aspect ratio (AR) and flow, Inconel T14 turbine wheel for extreme exhaust gas temperatures, VSR speed balanced, proprietary ceramic dual ball bearing system, integrated iron backplate in the centre housing.
