This replacement alloy part is CNC machined from a single piece to ensure a perfect fit with no distortion or leaks. Together with the supplied steel blanking plate, it allows for the removal and replacement of the EGR valve on the 5-cylinder 2.5-liter T5 engine. Removing the EGR valve, even on vehicles that are running correctly, provides an increase in power. However, most EGR valves, over time and especially on vehicles used for short journeys, become partially clogged, leading to a loss of power and poor performance if they are not cleaned or replaced. Please note that the engine management light will come on and the glow plug light will flash. This modification is well worth it.
