The FMDP3 is Forge’s direct replacement kit for the undersized OEM discharge hose on the 2.0T EVO 4 engine.

With the popularity of tuning the new generation EVO 4 engines, Forge Motorsport has developed the perfect high flow discharge hose to meet your tuning needs.

The Forge discharge hose has a 63mm outlet which will perfectly mate up to your OEM or high-performance intercooler inlet union, improving both flow and volume by enlarging the restrictive OEM plastic hose with this excellent solution.

The pursuit of greater power involves higher boost pressure, and the need to remove any restriction from the boost system is essential. On analysis of the OEM discharge hose system, it became clear that improvements could be made not only on the hard pipe but also on the OEM rubber hoses. Utilising our 3D scanning equipment and CAD engineers, we delivered a product of impeccable precision and quality.

With several different designs to choose from, Forge Motorsport’s in-house development team spent many months testing and experimenting with different designs to ensure we delivered a superior product to tuning enthusiasts. We opted for a rigid, mandrel bent, alloy pipe with an increased internal bore from 63mm to 70mm from the turbo outlet to the union, where it then goes back to 63mm and mates to the hot side of the intercooler.

The new hoses included in the DP3 kit are manufactured from 4-ply fluorosilicone, and the kit is clamped with our specially designed bracket to ensure a perfect fix once installed.

This new setup results in a product capable of withstanding higher boost levels, providing more efficient airflow, as well as being more durable than the OEM and less prone to failure and fatigue than the OEM product. Like all Forge Motorsport products, the FMDP3 is covered by the legendary Forge Motorsport lifetime warranty.

Performance improvements may vary depending on existing modifications and software tune levels. Generally, you can expect gains of 3-5bhp and 5-7nm of torque with the FMDP3 installed. The overall look is discreet, with a textured black powder coat finish and black silicone hoses, keeping the original aesthetic in the engine bay.

The FMDP3 replaces the OEM part 5WA 145 840D and is designed for the OEM cooler or aftermarket coolers with 63mm inlets.
