The MMR Performance BMW & Mini magnetic sump plug is a simple yet effective upgrade that can dramatically increase your engine's lifespan. As your engine wears, tiny metallic particles become suspended in the oil, accelerating wear with every use. Our magnetic sump plugs help separate out these ferrous particles. Now with a revised design which is also compatible with B58 engines.

It’s inevitable: engine’s contacting surfaces will lightly abrade with every operation. So, it's inevitable that tiny ferrous particles become suspended in the oil. These are rapidly circulated around the engine via the lubrication system for thousands of miles, passing through sensitive components such as crank bearings or camshaft caps, gradually contributing to increased engine wear.
Our magnetic sump plug features a powerful, extra large surface magnetic end to help trap these metallic particles. And, of course, the harder your engine works, the greater the risk of such metallic debris build-up, meaning that using our magnetic sump plug becomes highly beneficial.
The MMR Performance magnetic sump plug is beautifully machined from lightweight T6-6061 billet aluminium, then anodised in our signature gloss black finish. A set of 5 sealing washers is included (additional packs available to order).
