OVERVIEW: The Radium Engineering Fuel Hanger Surge Tank (FHST) is the ultimate solution to fuel starvation issues in the Nissan Z33/V35 chassis. Due to the OEM saddlebag style fuel tank and insufficient baffling, fuel starvation is common when the vehicle is aggressively driven, such as on a road course. This leads to unstable fuel pressure and potential engine damage from running too lean. A standalone surge tank is an excellent device for eliminating fuel starvation issues. However, installing a standalone FST is difficult, especially in the 350Z, due to the open cabin design and lack of a firewall between the driver and the rear of the vehicle. For this reason, Radium Engineering opted to create a fully functional fuel surge tank WITHIN the OEM fuel tank. The Radium FHST can be used with one or two aftermarket fuel pumps and delivers 1:1 regulated fuel to the engine. No grinding, bending, or sheet metal modification to the vehicle is required. Furthermore, the system is compatible with alternative fuels such as E85.

PUMP COMPATIBILITY: The FHST offers both brushed and brushless fuel pump options. The system is compatible with but not limited to the following fuel pumps: Walbro GSS342AEM 20-1830 & E85 50-1200. INCLUDES: The complete kit includes all necessary parts for installation such as the gauge, external fuel hose, fittings, electrical fuse, relay, etc. Fuel pumps must be purchased separately.
