OVERVIEW

This Radium Engineering fuel hanger is compatible with 1, 2 or 3 aftermarket fuel pumps.

The kit reuses the OEM fuel level sender as well as the OEM ORVR emissions and vent ports.
CONNECTIONS

The integrated fuel pump outlet has 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female threads on the top plate. However, a low profile 8AN male fitting is included to attach to an aftermarket fuel line (not included). The fuel return inlet has 6AN ORB (9/16"-18) female threads on the top plate. A 6AN male adapter is included to attach to an aftermarket fuel line (not included). All fittings are machined with a low enough profile so as not to interfere with the surrounding area.

FUEL STARVATION PROTECTION

Several mechanisms work in conjunction to direct fuel to the integrated collector and keep it full at all times. This ensures the pump(s) have adequate fuel, even during aggressive driving. The integrated fuel tank collector is fed fuel from three different sources:

The one-piece anodized aluminum collector box keeps fuel trapped around the pump inlet(s).

There are three one-way filler valves built into the bottom of the collector box that allow fuel in, but not out. Each one-way filler valve allows 355 L/hr of flow.

The collector box is constantly replenished with fuel returning from the pressure regulator.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Custom-designed stainless steel electrical terminals easily support high current demands that compact multi-pin bulkhead connectors cannot provide. They feature an anti-rotational system preventing the terminals from spinning. These serviceable connections are hermetically sealed and resistant to all fuels, both standard and exotic. Non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts are included to prevent accidental short circuits. Furthermore, the in-tank wiring is insulated with high-grade, chemical-resistant ETFE.

NOTES

In single pump installations, the OEM fuel pump wiring can be reused.

It is recommended to upgrade the OEM wiring to ensure the pump receives full power and operates at its maximum potential.

If additional pumps are used, it is IMPERATIVE to use pump-specific relays and fuses.
